The oh-so-exciting holiday weekend

Alright, so it actually was pretty good.. I will not deny that. On Wednesday (I left around 2pm) I ventured up north to spend Thanksgiving with my family. Of course, we all ate too much - but it was fun.. After dinner, we played Apples to Apples (if you have never played this game - it is loads of fun, totally simple- you gotta try it) and then watched RV....

Friday, I left Wausau (with my sister) and we made our way to Appleton. We ventured out into the craziness that is called the day after thanksgiving shopping and I actually bought some stuff. *side note: I bought the "Daughtry" CD (ie: Chris Daughtry from the last season of American Idol). I absolutely love it - its sounds like a mix of Nickelback and Bon Jovi**
Then, we went to see the LoveMonkeys at a little bar in Appleton.. Let me tell you why I loved this particular Lovemonkey experience so much - in Appleton - people cant smoke in the bars - I left the show and didnt smell - it was the best ever. Plus, the LoveMonkeys were amazing as usual.

I went home Saturday morning - slept for a bit - watched a movie.. and went to see Dave on Saturday night.. ( I really missed that boy while I was gone)

Sunday - I picked up Krista from the airport, had lunch with her, then we went to Michaels to buy yarn (the blanket Im crocheting is now about 5 ft by 2 feet (maybe a little more), but I do absolutely love it so far..

The plan for tonight - I am going to watch the Packer game with Dave, Chris and Laura - should be fun!!
