The snow was fun - while it lasted...

Its been a few days since I have updated what is happening lately in the life of Sarah. Well, lets see.. Today has not been very eventful. There are a lot of students gone today. Im not exactly sure for the reason, but I am guessing it is because the weather is a little questionable. These students will find any excuse to not come to class. The students that are here – are working very well. We are getting a lot accomplished. But, again, I think that is because there are fewer students. That allows for more one on one time and focusing on individual students.

Last night I went to Grafton to hang out with Katie. That girl never ceases to amuse me. I picked her up and we went to dinner at some restaurant in Saukville. Katie just got her tongue pierced, so watching her try to eat was a riot in itself. Then, we went to the Ozaukee Humane Society and looked at cats. I want to get a cat. But, I don’t want to get one from the humane society, because they call your landlord. Then, I am going to have to pay the $100 deposit for an animal right away, and I don’t want to do that. So, Im going to try and find one through the paper. Who knows what will end up happening with that.

Monday night I watched “Without a Paddle” and “The Village”. Both were good. Then, had to go and return them to Family Video because their actual release date was yesterday. That is one of the perks of working at Family Video – renting movies for free, before they are officially released; and then the rest of my rentals are ½ off…. I am not going to complain.

This past weekend, I was at Steve’s for most of the time. Ended up going out by him on Friday night at about 11:30pm. I wasn’t going to go until Saturday, but talked to him after I got off of work from Family Video on Friday and he asked if I wanted to go snowmobiling with him. I said yes, and then thought about calling him back. Before this weekend, I had been on a snowmobile once in my life and for a time span of about 5 minutes. I don’t think that counts. So, I got to Steve’s we went out from like midnight to 1:30am. I only freaked out a couple times riding with him, but overall, I think I did rather well. Saturday, I actually drove around a lake myself a few times – big, big step for me. I have this fearing of running into something, or tipping over. But, I did it without incident. And, to tell you the truth, I actually liked it. Though, if anybody asks me, I am not going to admit to that. Lol.

Enough for now, I have students in a couple of minutes and I need to get this posted.
